Regional construction employment rises in August

Reporter- Kansas City Business Journal | | | Construction employment rose on both sides of the state line — by 1.9 percent in Kansas and by .7 percent in Missouri — in August, according to an analysis of federal employment data from the Associated General Contractors of America. Missouri added 800 jobs, increasing total employment in the sector to 111,400, and Kansas added 1,000, bringing total employment to 53,900.
